Young Eagles Program
EAA wants to offer everyone between the ages of ages 8 and 17 an opportunity to fly in a private airplane with a qualified pilot. Young Eagles is a site dedicated to that.
Women In Aviation, International
Women In Aviation, International began in 1990 and was formally established in 1994 to encourage women to seek opportunities in aviation. According to the Federal Aviation Administration, of the nearly 700,000 active pilots in the United States, less than six percent are women and only slightly more than two percent ATP rated. Women account for only 2.13 percent of the more than 540,000 non-pilot aviation jobs in the United States.
Transport Canada
The Aircraft Maintenance and Manufacturing Branch provides service to a varied constituency. With the second largest fleet of civil aircraft in the western world, Canada's maintenance organizations assist in ensuring that all aeronautical products built, operated or maintained under Canadian control conform to national and international airworthiness standards.
Twin Cessna Flyer
The Twin Cessna Flyer organization is dedicated to safety, preservation and the economical operation of all piston-powered Twin Cessna aircraft. Through the monthly magazine, periodic maintenance and operations seminars, it's technical center in Defiance, Ohio and networking among members, significant value is available to all members and owner/operators.
Society of Experimental Test Pilots
The Society of Experimental Test Pilots is an international organization that seeks to promote air safety and contributes to aeronautical advancement by promoting sound aeronautical design and development; interchanging ideas, thoughts and suggestions of the members, assisting in the professional development of experimental pilots, and providing scholarships and aid to members and the families of deceased members.
