Air Traffic Organization (ATO) Maintenance HF Research

The goal of the Human Factors Research Engineering and development program in Air Trafic is to maximize human performance and effectiveness in the National Airspace System.

The research program has the goal of providing technical development and operations knowledge to assist in the development, operation, and maintenance of the infrastructure that includes systems such as radar, ground-based navigation aids, and communications. Technical Operations Human Factors Research Projects attempt to provide guidelines and standards for the computer human interface (CHI) of monitoring & control in systems and issues related to workstation integration.
